VSSL UNION is Oahu's first-ever integrated Jiu-Jitsu and Yoga studio. We offer a dynamic schedule featuring 14 jiu-jitsu classes—including specialized sessions for kids—and 15 diverse yoga classes each week.

Frequently asked questions

  • Gi training is when you are wearing a Kimono with a belt to train. If you do not have a kimono and belt, you must first obtain one before training.

    A lot of the Gi training requires gripping pant or arm sleeves and lapels.

    No Gi training requires a rash-gaurd and shorts (without pockets) or leggings.

  • There are different types of memberships at VSSL:

    • Unlimited Yoga + Jiu Jitsu membership ($180/month) - Access to all classes

    • Yoga only membership ($140/month)- Access to all yoga classes.

    • Kids Jiu jitsu membership ($150/month)- access to all kids classes.

  • At VSSL UNION, we offer memberships with a 6-month minimum commitment to support consistency, growth, and accountability in your practice.

    Terms & Conditions

    • All memberships require a minimum 6-month commitment from the start date.

    • After the 6-month period, memberships automatically continue month-to-month unless cancelled.

    • Early cancellation before 6 months is subject to a $50 early termination fee.

  • Yes, there is currently a total of 52 free parking stalls available in the Hale Mahana Building.

    The landlord may charge an hourly parking fee in the future.

  • Yes! We have Gi rentals available for $10 per class. Sizes are limited, so please arrive a few minutes early to ensure we have one that fits.

  • Yes- you can freeze your membership for up to 3 months total per year. There is a $20 freeze fee per month.

    Ti request a freeze, please email aloha @vsslunion at least 7 days before your next billing date.
